Default Possible to capture sent items from another application?

I may be missing something, but we have a CRM that uses SMTP to send emails. Is there a method for me to configure the server such that it puts those sent emails into the users sent folder under the web client?

That's good to hear! Can you point me in the right direction for an example?

Looks like the same thing I read in the soap documentation - primarily for administrative functions. I can't seem to find an example of sending an email from a third party app via soap (hopefully php).

what about using imap? if the account is imap enabledc, php has built in functions for putting messages in mailboxes, it's documented at PHP: IMAP - Manual
