Unable to delete IM Buddy

I have a situation where I am unable to delete an IM Buddy; right-click, choose delete from the contact menu, but nothing happens. There is some background, though, which may not be related.

This buddy was originally added as foo@bar.net. Later, a new domain (fake.com) was added and that user's account was changed to foo@fake.com. So that this user would still receive mail at the old address, foo@bar.net was added as an alias.

Now, foo@bar.net still shows up in my buddy list, and I cannot delete it. I am tempted to edit that account and change it back to the original address to see if I can delete it then.

This is the only buddy in the list, by the way. If I create a second one, and then try to delete the first one, the second one gets deleted instead.

I'll continue to tinker to see if I can remove it. But just in case, would someone be able to tell me where to go manually delete it? I'm sure it's in LDAP or MySQL and I would find it if I just looked. But I would rather someone with knowledge about the beta IM feature give me a list of steps to make sure I remove this buddy cleanly.

Well, I changed the account back to the original email address and I was then able to remove the buddy from my list. So there is definitely a bug where if an account that is in someone else's buddy list gets renamed, it cannot be removed from said buddy list.
