Default adding a

Im zimbra 5.x, in zmlocalconfig there is a configuration for:
zimbra_http_originating_ip_header = X-Originating-IP

Can I modify that header to add something else?
I would like to add another header to msgs sent either via the web client or by using a client.

May we ask why ? what are you trying to spoof (if you are) and why ?

Actually, no spoof.

Ok I will try to explain better.
If you have used MailScanner in the past, you may know that you can add headers with different info, for example, a signature.
That is what I want to do...add a signature.

Adding a disclaimer (altermime) or footer - Zimbra :: Wiki

That will allow you to insert a system-wide message to all emails. This is a feature that is supposed to be available in 6.0 (probably).

Mailscanner worked spectacular. I used it for many years with courier imap, along with mailwatch. Zimbra is now using Amavis rather than mailscanner, I'd prefer Mailscanner as it is more expandable, but Amavis gets the job done.
