Default Ports to be opened in multi server install

Hi All,

What are the main ports need to be opened between two Zimbra servers in a multiserver installation. Both the servers are identical except one is master LDAP and other is the replica LDAP, all other services are same on both the servers.

Thanks,

Premod

It would help if you were to update your profile aswell with the output from
Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v

I am using 5.0.10_GA Network edition on Ubuntu 6,

I will be adding one more server with my current Single server setup in another continent and it will be the MX2 of my domain. Both the servers will act as the mail server for each location and share the same ldap (one is master and other replica). Both the servers will be able to send mail but receiving mail only by the primary box. If primary went down, secondary will accept mail from internet. Both servers will move mails using lmtp to each users mail box, according the users mail box location.

I guess ports 24 (LMTP) and 389 (ldap) are sufficient for communicating each server. I heard logger service also need to communicate between server, if so what other ports need to be opned?

Thanks,

Premod
