Migrating from Lotus Notes using imapsync+Wizard

We're planning a migration (200+ users, 200GB+ data) from Lotus Notes 7 to Zimbra 5.0.10. The Zimbra Migration Wizard is slow and unreliable for mail. So, the plan is to use imapsync for mail and Zimbra's Migration Wizard for non-mail (calendar and tasks). Has anyone tried migrating between these two platforms? Did you do anything special, create any special scripts? Were there any gotchas? Any resources that deal with this case?

I am trying to find out how to do imapsync without changing existing Notes user password.

The --authuser feature seems not to be supported by Notes IMAP agent.
