Default Updating salocal.cf file

Following instructions from the wiki, I've modified the salocal.cf.in file to put in some blacklist items. It says that you should restart the Spamassassin for things to take effect. The code I run is:

Code:
zmamavisdctl restart
However, that doesn't copy the salocal.cf.in to salocal.cf

Am I running the wrong command? Or does it take a total restart of Zimbra to get the .in file to copy over?

Make your changes to salocal.cf.in and then restart. I've always had luck doing a complete restart of Zimbra.

That's what I've been doing. But running that command I posted earlier doesn't cause the changes to move over.

Have you made a complete Zimbra restart?

zmcontrol stop
zmcontrol start

Oh, it works fine if I restart Zimbra entirely. But I usually do "service zimbra restart". Is there any difference between doing that and doing the zmcontrol stop and start?

Release 6.0.6_GA_2331.RHEL4_20100505170712 CentOS4 NETWORK edition.
I would get updated salocal.cf by changes in salocal.cf.in, but i do not want restart zimbra entirely
Code:
$ zmantispamctl restart

Stopping zmmtaconfig...done.
Starting zmmtaconfig...done.
Stopping amavisd... done.
Starting amavisd...done.
is not enough
what is the proper command?
