zmlogger faild "Too many connections"

Hi

I have in zmlogswatch.out the error:

DBI connect('database=zimbra_logger;mysql_read_default _file=/opt/zimbra/conf/my.logger.cnf;mysql_socket=/opt/zimbra/logger/db/mysql.sock','zimbra',...) failed: Too many
connections at /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmlogger line 176
Can't call method "prepare" on unblessed reference at /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmlogger line 57.

I did change in /opt/zimbra/conf/my.logger.cnf the max_connectons to 20. after this change the logging was working again.

But I have nothing special in my zimbra installation how can this happen?
is my way to fix the problem save?
