Counters wrong in server stats

There's probably a good explanation for this one...

On my Admin UI, I'm looking at the server stats for the last 30 and 60 days. On the 30 day graph, around Dec. 17 it shows a message count around 18,000. Yet the message count on the 60 day graph for Dec. 17 shows 50,000 messages. It's wrong on other days too.

Any idea why the discrepancy? I've attached a screen shot.

I think it is the way RRD works out how it straightens out lines of values. I could be well wrong though
