Default mail --> none () status bounced

All of a sudden I can't send email to gmail.

I ran a zmmsgtrace -r xxx@gmail.com and got the following

2009-01-07 15:34:20 - localhost (127.0.0.1) --> mail
2009-01-07 15:34:20 - mail --> none () status bounced (gmail.com)

Any idea why this would be? It looks like it's not resolving to gmail because of mail --> none (). This started to happen after I upgraded to 5.0.11 GA Release.

PS - I can ping gmail.com just fine and I can send email to everyone but gmail.

Drew

The more I think about this issue the more I think it has to do with Archiving & Discovery. This problem started shorly after I setup archiving a discovery for a specific user. Initially I issued the following command

zmarchiveconfig enable <account@exampe.com> archive-address account-archive@gmail.com archive-create false

I was going to forward all email to a gmail account. After I issued the command the MTA did not forward email to gmail so I scrapped the idea and issued a different command

zmarchiveconfig enable user@example.com

which is working fine. However, I was not able to "undo" the initial zmarchiveconfig command which leads me to believe that is what's causing my gmail issue.

Thoughs?

Ran the following and got...

zimbra@mail:~/log$ zmprov ga xxx@example.com | grep -i archive
amavisArchiveQuarantineTo: XXX-20081228@example.com.archive
zimbraArchiveAccount: XXX@gmail.com
zimbraArchiveAccount: XXX@example.com.archive
zimbraArchiveAccountDateTemplate: yyyyMMdd
zimbraArchiveAccountNameTemplate: ${USER}-${DATE}@${DOMAIN}.archive

Not sure if that helps any...

for future reference, I solved the problem.

when I ran

zmarchiveconfig enable <account@exampe.com> archive-address account-archive@offsiteserver.com archive-create true

you will see I had "true" at the end. DON'T DO THAT. It created a domain called gmail.com and could not resolve email to that address.
