Chatrooms and Pidgin

Am confused with the steps to create a new chatroom using pidgin ... Is it that we need to have a chatroom already created through zimbra ? If so were I can do that ?

I tried : Pidgin: Tools Menu > Room List > Get list > against say <mx.domain.com> > add chat > click it in your buddy list > accept defaults or configure room.

and It didnt list any chat room and the "Add Chat " button was disabled.....

Please guide me on how to initiate a chatroom for zimbra user using pidgin..
