Seems to be a different issue than this MUCH MUCH earlier issue that I could find by searching the forums:
logger stopped
Essentially my logger just stopped.

The exact log entry right before this one, it says "Running".
There is very little else to go off of.
I tried zmcontrol status:
zimbra@email:~$ zmcontrol status
Host email.serverurl.com
ldap Running
logger Stopped
zmlogswatchctl is not running
mailbox Running
mta Running
snmp Running
spell Running
stats Running
If I issue a "zmlogswatchctl start" the status shows its running for like a second (probably erroneously) and if you run status again, it shows its not running.
What's up? What's going on? How do I fix it? Need any more info?
It just randomly happened and I can't get it working again.
I'm running Debian Etch, and (I know I know) a VPS, but one with sufficient resources to handle zimbra, which is otherwise working fine.
zmcontrol -v :
