Default By-Passing AV for certain IP?

We have our newsletter server, which sends out only plain text, sometimes very light HTML e-mail's to our newsletter subscribers.

With over 9,000 subscribers, it hits the AMAVIS AV scanner really hard and our system load goes through the roof. Is there a way to put in a single IP exception that does not have outbound mail going through the AV processor?

This is single purpose server, so there are no concerns from our part of doing this.

Thanks

Sounds like a reasonable request, a workaround my be to throttle back the newsletter server so it sends the mail's at a lower rate.

Other than that, is this link any help? Bypass amavisd-new scanning HOWTO
