[SOLVED] All mail being defered conneciton timed out
Help. All incoming and some outgoing email is being defered and I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. when I tailed the zimbra.log I am seeing status=deferred (connect to fqdn.server [ip address] : connection timed out)
What do I need to check. I have done a zmcontrol stop and start and all show as running.
As far as I know of yes. The file system showed over 10 GB free when I checked it earlier. I think it is a dns issue of some type. I am restarting the whole box now to see what shakes loose.
We got it figured out. Our DNS server for email had gotten jacked up so the Zimbra server couldn't find itself LOL. Restarted the box and it started working fine.
