What kind of folders and files are you wanting to import?

Oh, and if you could please update your profile with the output of:
Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v
That way we'll know what version of Zimbra you're on.

You should be able to get attachments from files and folders that are already stored on your local hard drive. You shouldn't have to actually put anything on your Zimbra server.
