Default Error when emailling Zimbra Support

Hey
We are having an issue in the office with Zimbra. We are trying to renew our licence but we are unable to email the support people, every email sent to a @zimbra.com address is bounced back with the following message(from the log file):
Quote:
Dec 16 10:31:53 mail2 postfix/smtp[22398]: 80D801BD1087: to=<xxxx@zimbra.com>, relay=mta01.zimbra.com[207.126.229.143]:25, delay=2.5, delays=0.01/0.02/0.79/1.6, dsn=5.0.0, status=bounced (host mta01.zimbra.com[207.126.229.143] said: 550 domain of xxxx@ouraddress.co.uk does not designate 213.xx.218.xx as permitted sender (in reply to MAIL FROM command))
i have removed some information from log entry for security. Can anyone help or suggest what is happening. this error only occurs with zimbra.com addresses

Is this a new install and do I read your profile correctly - you've installed NE on FC7? If that's the case you're running NE on an unsupported distribution and only the versions listed here are supported.

It doesn't except for the fact you will be unable to get support if you're running Zimbra on an unsupported distribution.

You appear to have an invalid SPF record, whoever set it up has entered the following:

Code:
v=spf1 mx -all
and that's incorrect, it should read:

Code:
v=spf1 mx ~all
note the change of character before the 'all'. You need to have the DNS SPF record fixed.

I also asked if this is a new install, is it? You need to move this install to a supported distribution as I mentioned earlier.

The system has been running on FC7 for a year or so and zimbra has been recently updated to 5.0.11. so you could say it is a new install.
I guess i will need to move it to a supported distro if it is that important. Could i use Fedora 8/9 instead of RHEL5 seeing as they have similar codebases

No, FC8/FC9 are not supported distribuions - only the distributions on the page I've given you earlier are supported. There is no QA done on any other distributions than those listed for NE and it cannot be guaranteed to run smoothly.

OK, a migration isn't that difficult but do ask in the forums if you have any questions about it. You'll also find some articles in the wiki (as well as the forums) that will help.

Just some added information for your original post, you should email your sales contact for licence renewal not support.
