Question "Recent messages" definition in Zimbra webclient (Ajax)

Hi,

When you log in into the Ajax webclient the webpage might state:
"Inbox with no new messages"
and below that
"2 Unread messages"
(Sorry, I have to use a Dutch webinterface, and need to translate to English. So please bear with me)

We are wondering about this difference. Might this be caused by me logging in, seeing I have an "Inbox with two new messages" and below that "2 Unread messages". When I log out, and in again, I now have an "Inbox with no new messages" and below that "2 Unread messages"? So, the first counter counts only the new messages since the last time I logged in, and the second counter counts all new messages?

Could this be caused by the function call getInfoResponse containing countRecentMessages? How is countRecentMessages defined?

Macamba

PS. I use Outlook (*gasp*). I have noticed comparable behaviour. When I receive multiple new e-mails, and open Outlook, read a new e-mail, and then lower Outlook back to my System Tray the new e-mail icon is removed from the System Tray. And there are still new unread e-mails. Could it be that Zimbra follows similar behavior.
