Default [SOLVED] COS changes don`t take effect

hi I'am from germany!

I have installed the latest zimbra ( open-source ) version and i think it is a phantastic product!

but i have a question....

if i have an existing COS! and my user-accounts exists also. how can i change the COS settings afterwards? so if i say my users should not have a calender. i think i have to click it out in the COS menu. but in the user account nothing happens. they still have a calender! thank you!

It works for me. Don't forget that the change will take effect next time the user logs in and not during the current session.

...and in a multi-node environment we sometimes use the 'zmprov flushCache' command to make changes happen quicker on nodes.

Okay have found the solution It is due to inheritance ... Go back into the Admin GUI and on the newly created CoS allow Calendar again. Scroll down to the calendar section and un-select Group Calendar. Once that is done un-select Calendar under main features. Save the CoS and for the assigned user log out and back in again
