[SOLVED] How to Update To New Release

How do you do an update to a new Zimbra release? I am at Release 5.0.9 and I want to upgrade to 5.0.11.

Download the new version of Zimbra, take a full backup of Zimbra (if NE) or for OSS shutdown Zimbra and backup /opt/zimbra then extract the downloaded file and run the ./install.sh script.

I'd read the 5.0.11 upgrade notes first... just to make sure.

I am upgrading from the Open Source version to the Network Edition on the same server. Could I just install the NE version over the top of the OSS version while retaining all of my settings?

Yes, you can but still do the backup of /opt/zimbra.

Yes, but have your ZCSLicense.xml file handy.

Probably easiest if you drop that file into /opt/zimbra/conf before you run the NE installer.
