Default Appointments from third party clients doesn't show date in mail body

Hello all,

Just wanted to post here before posting this as a feature request/bug report.

Since we switched mail system from our exchange to zimbra and moved everyone over to using the web client, we've got a few complaints about missing features. One of them is that when people get an invite from eg. Thunderbird or iCal, those clients doesn't post the appointment date in the message body like the web client does. So people can't get an quick overview of the incomming event before they accept or deny it.

I would suppose it could be possible with a zimlet, but anyone know if it's out there? If not perhaps someone have some pointers for how to make one. I was thinking of a small button that would show up as a link to the appoinment in the calendar.
