zmlogstatus returns mailbox stopped

When zmlogstatus is run from the crontab it returns that the mailbox is stopped which is incorrect

10:54:01, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: mailbox: Stopped
10:54:01, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: snmp: Running
10:54:01, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: spell: Running
10:54:01, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: stats: Running

When run manually it reports that it is working which is correct

10:55:13, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: mailbox: Running
10:55:13, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: snmp: Running
10:55:13, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: spell: Running
10:55:13, STATUS: wmbxc15-s1.blah.com: stats: Running

I thought it maybe to do with a crontab/profile issue but have added both . /opt/zimbra/.bashrc to the cron as well as importing the zimbra shell profile into the the perl script but with no success.

We are using 5.10 on RHEL 5.2 NE

Any help/pointers would be appreciated.
