Default Bouncing messages to Zimbra

I bounced messages from a different account to my Zimbra IMAP account.

I then deleted the messages from Zimbra using IMAP, and expunged and emptied the Trash to make sure they were completely gone.

I bounced them again from the original account.

They are successfully delivered (no errors during relaying from any of the participating mail servers), but do not show up in my Zimbra inbox. Other new messages are properly delivered to me and appear in my inbox.

I do not have access to the Zimbra logs. I'm a user. Is there something I can do myself?

What could be the problem?

I guess Zimba's IMAP server believes these are the same messages I originally deleted, and therefore immediately marks them for deletion; or something similar...

Ideas?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums

Ask the Administrator to check the logs and also re-index your account from the admin GUI.

Thanks. I didn't know Zimbra did any kind of indexing, but I figured the problem must be something like that.

Can a user do a re-index from the web GUI? (If not, this would be a nice feature.)

Cheers.
