[SOLVED] After a file system failure - EMPTY INBOX

Hi,

I'm using Zimbra OS 5.0.9.

Yesterday there was a file system (reiserfs) failure, and some files are lost after a reiserfsck.

One of accounts as an inbox of one message, but moving the mouse over the "INBOX" text it tells he has over 2200 messages.

Can I recover them? Rebuilding MYSQL tables?

Try and re-index the mailbox.

Go to the Admin UI and in the Account details hit the re-index option.

You could try Mysql Crash Recovery - Zimbra :: Wiki but I would recommend taking a backup of /opt/zimbra first. If it is only MySQL that is broken and the message store is intact then the emails could be recovered by re-injecting them once the database is sorted.

thank you ! I had to rebuild InnoDB index ... it was too corrupt...
