Default Manual postfix editing?

How tcan I edit /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/main.cf such that Zimbra won't overwrite it . Goal is to manually add greylisting and other checks without Zimbra overwriting it on a restart.

X-Original-To header

This will change in the next release, which will remove the main.cf.in and allow you to (mostly) change main.cf as you please.

Perfect, my postfix guru bailed me out with the help from post 2139. Should make future releases even easier to deal with. Thanks

I am looking forward to the next release!

How about keeping manual changes in postfix_header_checks file as well? Or the postfix_header_checks.in file will stay as the right place for manual changes in the next release?

Don't think we save that file. Please enter a bug in bugzilla with a use case.

Sorry for my poor English, because I don't understand what you want me to do. I did not point to a bug, I just asked a question. So once more - I use postfix_header_checks.in file to add custom postfix tests. It was rather matter of trial and error for me (no docs concerning this) but I found out that manually editing postfix_header_checks.in file works just like I need. I just wanted to know if this behaviour will be the same in next release (releases) or if there will be changes similar to manual editing postfix's main.cf.

There is no way to know for sure. If you edit a file in Zimbra you should back it up before any upgrade. Don't depend on zimbra to keep your custom changes.
