Default Calendar not shared (correctly)

Hello,

In the installation of our customer it is possible to share your calendar with others. A shared calendar can be opened by "person 2" to whom "person 1" has granted (management) share privileges to. "Person 2" can create an appointment for "person 1" in the shared calendar. But the created appointment will be for "person 2", not "person 1".

See attached images. Joanna Doe has granted management privileges to John Doe. John Doe tried to create an appointment for Joanna in the calendar of Joanna, which he has opened (the blue calendar is of Joanna). When you double click the "New appointment by John for Joanna" you get the second image. And the owner of this appointment is John, and not Joanna.

What version are you using?

Whats odd is that Joanna Doe's calendar does not look like a shared calendar normally does. The icon for a shared calendar normally has 2 people in it just like shared e-mail folders. The screenshot you posted makes it look like that is a local calenar of johns.

When you create this appointment, does it actually show up in joanna's calendar when you log in as her?

You're right. The first time I added Joanna's calendar to John's I had two calendars beside each other. But after logging John out, and in again I could only see the appointment John made in his calendar. And as you can see the appointment made for Joanna has a blue colour ...

No. If I double click the (offending) appointment I only saw John's name in it. Only when I added Joanna's name as one of the invitee's did it appear as meeting request in Joanna's calendar.

Edit: Maybe not obvious, but I added my accounts settings so it includes the ZCS information

If you right click on the calendar, and select edit properties, does it say the owner is joannadoe@domain.com or whatever. maybe also check the server. if you do the following command

Code:
su - zimbra
zmmailbox -z -m johndoe@domain.com gaf
that will get all teh folders for john's account. calendars are just folders. you should see his calendar as well as joanna's, but they should look different like this

Code:
      5419 appo 0 72 /Joanna Doe (joannadoe@domain.com:10)
        10 appo 0 73 /Calendar
it really sounds like sharing isn't working properly

Id View Unread Msg Count Path
---------- ---- ---------- ---------- ----------
          1 conv 0 0 /

         10 appo 0 3 /Calendar
         14 mess 0 0 /Chats
          7 cont 0 2 /Contacts
          6 mess 0 1 /Drafts
         13 cont 0 3 /Emailed Contacts
          2 mess 0 9 /Inbox
        376 appo 0 1 /Joanna Doe
          4 mess 0 0 /Junk
         12 wiki 0 0 /Notebook
          5 mess 0 15 /Sent
         15 task 0 0 /Tasks
          3 conv 0 2 /Trash
It seems that everything is as one would expect.
