Question Monitoring postfix queues

I've read the various wiki pages on monitoring of Zimbra but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I would like to configure my existing monitoring server (Nagios) to page me if the postfix queues start backing up (e.g. if the queues get over X messages long). What is the best way to accomplish that? Is there something already written I can use or do I have to script that myself? I've seen various things for Nagios, Cacti and MRTG (we have all 3 in some form or another), but nothing for monitoring postfix queues in Zimbra. Can someone please direct me?
