Default [SOLVED] Inconsistent message count in Junk folder

Junk folder link (side bar) count 1 less message than the folder contains. When I try to delete the last one, the error comes:

msg: system failure: inconsistent state: unread < 0 for item 4
code: service.FAILURE
method: FolderActionRequest
detail: soap:Receiver
trace: btpool0-1:1226967687766:60aa02426ee764d6

I can open, replay, in view pane or single window the last message, but cannot be deleted.

I've restarted the zimbra server, but no luck. It can be another message, but if it's the last one, zimbra does not count it and does not let to empty junk folder or delete the message.

How could I force to reindex that folder?

Sounds like an IMAP client didn't clean up after itself properly. Empty Trash from the Zimbra web UI and we'll clean up after your IMAP client.

This is a hack, but it should work: Save a search, then restart your server.

I have the same problem. I tried to empty Junk folder, that is ok but in Junk folder, there is a unread message. I open Junk folder but I don't see any messages. Why does Junk folder always displays one unread message?

Thanks so much.

Have you actually tried the suggestions posted in this thread? If you haven't then try them.
