Default Clock sync problem

Hi

A curious problem with my own Zimbra account means the time of all my outgoing messages appears to be offset by around 1hr 20 mins.

When I send mail in from a different mail client (on the same machine) the sent time is correct but my Zimbra GUI reports the received time with the funny offset.

I've checked bios time and localised time in the desktop's OS and there appear to be no errors. My other apps all report the right time.

Other people using the same ZImbra server and domain don't see the problem except they report my messages are displayed out of sequence in their inbox due to the time offset.

The offset is not a whole hour but rather 1 hr 23 mins 16 secs - to be precise

Any ideas?

Thanks

Dave

Forgot to mention - the clock in the bottom left of the Zimbra web client is showing the correct time

Check your browser timezone settings.

I can't see a timezone setting as such in the browser settings (Firefox 1.0.4 on Linux). I'd expect the offset to be a whole hour too if it is a timezone issue. Curious huh?

Very weird. I'd recommend you upgrade Firefox in any event.. 1.5 is much better on Linux although that is probably not related to this problem.

If you try to send/receive via IMAP does it show the same problem?

Upgraded firefox - same problem
Tried IMAP - this works as it should

We may be a version behind on the Zimbra server. Will investigate and upgrade

Cheers
