Default Migration Client causing Outlook Problems

After migrating a few mailboxes from Exchange into Zimbra, I opened Outlook to find that each one of those mailboxes that I migrated had been added to my Outlook tree. I am unable to remove the mailboxes in the traditional way through outlook properties. I am also re-recieving old emails as new all day. When I go to close outlook it freezes in a small window that says please wait while Outlook exits. Is anyone else having this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Work Around

I have been working with this for a while now. The problem definately does not exist on the server but is on my local machine. I tried removing all application settings that have to do with outlook. Nothing seemed to work. I did a search for all files with a .pst or .ost extension but found nothing that I hadn't already removed. I ended up creating a new "windows" profile which resolved the issue. I will keep looking for an alternate solution.

The MAPI profile you use for the migration should be a seperate profile. The docs aren't explicit about this but they do infer it. You should not use your normal profile to do the migration. It should be a special profile you create to do the migration.

But is there any way to fix a profile after a migration is done?

No. You should create a new profile.
