Default [SOLVED] Error when starting zimbra after boot

Host xxx.xxxxxxxxx.com
Starting ldap...Done.
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Enabled services read from cache. Service list may be inaccurate.

It does this each time I do a zmcontrol start

It looks like LDAP can't start.

Is this a new installation of Zimbra? If so, please check your DNS setup and your hosts
file. Also be sure you don't have SELINUX running or any conflicts on port 389.

If it's not a new installation, have you made any configuration changes recently or have you attempted a Zimbra upgrade?

You don't mention what version of Zimbra you're using and on what OS. That might be helpful to know.

Rhel5.1 i386 and NE 5.0.10.

And ldap is running and my system is working. I have had to systems hangs where the OS just goes brain dead and I had to reboot... no keyboard ssh or mouse access/response..

So if you issue the command zmcontrol status all your usual services show as started now?

Yes it was started. It's been doing this for a couple of weeks. I found this resolution this AM.

By adding an entry for the server to it's own host file services started without the warning.
