[SOLVED] Restore from old version backup

We are currently on NE 5.0.9. I have an account I need to point in time restore from an old backup - actually one moved aside from an upgrade which is a NE 5.0.2 backup.

What is involved in restoring from this older backup? Can it be done directly on the existing version or do I have to do a 5.0.2 install first and restore to that?

In this particular case, since I didn't need redologs or anything, I simply created a symbolic link in the backup directory to the backup that was moved to the side so it appeared in the backup list. I then was able to restore the account into another account using that particular label and it worked just fine.
