Yes. Use IMAP for Thunderbird and ics/ical for Lightening integration.

You can add a remote cal if it's hosted (ie https or http accessible).

Do you mean something like Webdav on Apache ?
How can I link the Apache Webdav to Zimbra - I need the same calendar store and integrate Zimbra User Credentials. This will allow me to integrate Lighting and Zimbra seamlessly.

Thanks,

Zimbra doesn't sync. It's just a one way read of this data. So you just need to host the file as a file. We don't support webdav today.

Default WCAP integration

I'm working on adding Sun's WCAP protocol to Zimbra, which would allow read/ write calendars from Lightning. Come to the wiki page.

Default WCAP integration

Have you been able to get WCAP to work with Lightning and Zimbra (Open Source)?
