Incoming connection problems

Hi all,
I have recently installed ZCS OS 5.0.9 64bit edition on Ubuntu 8.04.1 64bit. During initial testing everything appeared to be working fine, however we noticed we were losing emails from a few customers.
Upon further checking, I determined it was some sort of timeout error. We were using MXLogic for spam filtering, and when I had them try to directly send email to us, I got the same timeout errors.
They have been unable to resolve the issue, and I have found nothing specifically related to my problem on the forums. If anybody can be of help, I would be greatly appreciative!

Are you using a self-signed cert or a commercial one ? Do mxlogic trust your certificate ?

We are using a self-signed cert. I doubt that mxlogic trusts our cert... I didn't realize that was an issue.
The real problem is that we don't want to use MXLogic for spam filtering anymore, since ZCS does such a great job, plus it has AV scanning. The real problem is that they are not the only ones affected, simply the largest one since we haven't turned off their service, yet.
When I did turn off the service initially, mail was getting through with the exception of certain customers. The errors were identical, so I didn't know what to think. We still have our old mail server running, which is a sendmail server, and it has no problems receiving mail from anybody.
The old machine is named george, with an ip address of 199.224.96.27, ad the new one is named mail with an ip address of 199.224.96.26. They both sit behind a router with an ip address of 199.224.96.25. Our dns currently links mx records to mxlogic's servers.
I don't know if this is information overkill, but I really would love to get this solved so we can use this product, otherwise I am going to have to find another solution. I really appreciate any and all help I receive!

You could try re-generating the self-signed SSL cert. I have checked my logfiles and have not seen this error message at all though on a internet search it has came up quite a few times (even by somebody @ RedHat), and the answers did point to the cert itself.
