Default Folder ID

Ok - I will try a different angle. I am trying to use the create data source option of zmprov
Code:
zmprov cds
but i keep getting stuck when it comes to the attribute zimbraDataSourceFolderId. zmprov will not let me execute the command without it and looking at the ldap schema, it appears that it should take a 'string' as the value of the attribute. However, anything other than an int returns the value of the folderId to -1 when being processed by the scheduler. This means that the scheduler cannot deliver to the local folder.

My question is - where / how can you find the FolderId of the Inbox folder?? There is absolutely no documentation on this - neither is there any for the zmprov cds command so I am starting to pull my hair out.

Thanks.

The Inbox always has folder ID "2".

Thanks. I set the folderid to 2 and although this now delivers messages into the Inbox, it breaks the ajax client. I now no longer see the inbox folder under the 'folders' tab. It is now under it's own tab. However if I click 'Mail' at the top, then I see my inbox as per normal.

However, if I use the standard view, then my inbox looks correct and the external messages are delivered into the Inbox.

This is annoying.

Ok - I think I now what is happening here. The folder ID 2 is the destination folder on the Zimbra side. And this seems to work kinda.

But now, what if on the external side you have the hierachy INBOX.* ? Because what looks to be happening is that on the Zimbra side, the folder Inbox.INBOX is being created and all the external messages are being delivered there. And this is what is screwing up the ajax client.

If I can get around this, I will be very pleased.
