External Mysql Host

Hi Mates,

Is possible setup Zimbra to use an external Mysql server?
I wish to migrate the current zimbra Mysql database only to other host running only the Mysql (this not means multi server instalation) because I'm planning use Mysql to replicate (clustering) the database.

MySQL is tied to the heart of Zimbra so splitting the two is not a good option. Remember every upgrade to ZCS may have schema changes to keeping these in sync would prove troublesome. Not to mention that all components of ZCS have been fully tested together to ensure stability.

I appreciate you explanation about this issue.
After search sometime, I found in the official MySQL documentation an chapter devoted to fault tolerance and high availability. Thus, the Heartbeat+DRBD combo will be great.
