Date Calendar problem

We have the version 4.0.3_GA_406.RHEL4_64 16-oct-2006.
to try to add an event to the calendar we see this error:

I think this was fixed in Bug 12623 - Add appointment with Jerusalem time zone is failed (4.5.x)

It really is time to upgrade. Don't forget to read the release notes and make a backup!
You don't have to step through every version, but you might want to do it in hops like:
4.0.3 > 4.0.5 > 4.5.0/.1/.2 > 4.5.11 > 5.0.10
