MTA authentication vs. relay control

Hi, all

I have a question not answered for a while. In zimbra 5.0.8, I checked 'Enable authentication' under MTA tab and anyone who have correct email and password can use SMTP service provided by zimbra. What about the option 'MTA Trusted Networks' below? Is relay control disabled if 'Enable authentication' checked?
