Default Where is backup?

Hi everybody,

Have some strange question... I installed zimbra recently (5.0.10_GA_2638) in my Linux RH5, downloaded the documentations and read it. I can't see any backup tools in my GUI, but I can read about them in manual. What's wrong with my zimbra?

Thanx beforehand

The network edition includes a module for hot backup functionality to restore individual accounts to any point in time via redologs - there are lots of solutions/approaches you can take for the open source edition; some are listed here: Backup and Restore Articles - Zimbra :: Wiki and there are others if you search the forums.

Thank you for response, but it useless. This is documentation for Zimbra 4.5, I have 5.0 and I cn't find any Backup Tools in GUI, moreover if I try to use zmschedulebackup I just get this:

[root@localcalhost ~]# su - zimbra
[zimbra@localcalhost ~]$ zmschedulebackup
-bash: zmschedulebackup: command not found
[zimbra@localcalhost ~]$

Have any idea what's wrong with my Zimbra?

As Mike has already said you will not find any backup tools in the GUI or via the command line as they only exist in the Network Edition of ZCS. If you are using the FOSS version then you have to use of the open source solutions for backing up which are details here :- Backup and Restore Articles - Zimbra :: Wiki under the section Open Source Edition - Backup and Restore Procedures. So after all it is not useless you are just reading it incorrectly

See this documentation:

As opposed to:
