If there is a security issue with any of the services that zimbra is created with (ldap, mysql, postfix, tomcat, apache, etc.) how will these issues be resolved. Is there a patching procedure provided by zimbra.com for zimbra?

We will include patches in a zimbra patch. At this time we do not ship a patch only so you get the entire download and do an upgrade. This is the procedure for both minor and major upgrades. In the future we plan to add smaller delta patches for minor releases that include only the changes.
Thanks for the reply. On another note. I had suse 10 x86_64 and had my first try with zimbra on this distro. After reading the forums I noticed there were issues with this scenario right now. Will you be provided an x86_64 native build of suse 10 at any point?
thanks, again.
We may. It's on the list but no date is set yet.Originally Posted by comptekki
If you give me some steps to go through, I'd be willing to make a build and get it back to you.
Check out CVS there are some steps in ZimbraServer/docs.

I am working on building x86_64 build of zimbra. There are new versions of some pieces of the zimbra distro. I.e. There is snmp version 5.1.4 and mysql 4.1.18, clamav .88, etc. I can only see mysql 4.1.18. I guess I'll see what happens.
I see later in the notes file wher it talks about diff versions - edit the make file to reflect diff vrsns.Originally Posted by comptekki
