Default [SOLVED] mystery folder botching searches

we noticed today that searches in our shared folders which are under a central account wasn't working. I saw in the mailbox log

2008-10-15 16:54:17,651 INFO [btpool0-8447] [name=centralaccount@domain.com;aname=bdial@domain. com;mid=28;ip=192.168.93.135;] SoapEngine - handler exception
com.zimbra.cs.mailbox.MailServiceException$NoSuchI temException: no such folder path: //pix
ExceptionId:btpool0-8447:1224104057651:cd855fcaf5a157ff Code:mail.NO_SUCH_FOLDER Argpath, STR, "//pix")

I can't seem to find that folder though and remove it. I tried to do

zmmailbox -z -m centralaccount@domain.com gaf | grep -i pix

but nothing was returned. i'd hate to have to do a reindex since this is around 300gigs but if i need to i guess i will.

Default

always figure it out right after i post. I had a saved search called "pix" that i had deleted, but it was still in my trash. Once I removed it from my trash, the error went away and the search returned all the results i expected.

I further tested this bug with other saved searches and folders. If you have either in your Trash, it seems searching when including shared items breaks. I filed the following bug report

Bug 32355 – having a folder in your trash breaks searching in shared folders
