Web admin console returns error 403

When I go to https://hostname:7071/ I get correctly redirected to https://hostname:7071/zimbraAdmin/ however I then receive an error 403.
eg

HTTP ERROR: 403

FORBIDDEN

RequestURI=/zimbraAdmin/

Powered by Jetty://

I recently installed a new server certificate, but that process succeeded and I received no error messages.

Has anyone experienced this before and can give some pointers on a fix?
