Default I added a new volume/message store, how to move existing users?

Hi,

I would like to move my existing /opt/zimbra users to my new mnt by I don't see how. I tried backup, deleting user, then restoring but it restored the account back to the original location.

Please Help!

Welcome to the forum.

You're running NE so you have official support, don't forget that.

If you have new mounpoints available for "store", you can :
. stop zimbra
. move the files from the old mountpoint to the new one

Then
. link the new mounpoint to the old one

Or
. start ZCS (in such a way it's not accessible from your users nor able to receive mail but that you can access the console)
. change ZCS' configuration to use the new mountpoint
. make ZCS accessible to users and able to receive mail

Thanks for your help. I try to save my tickets until I really need them.

If I move the mailboxes with zimbra stopped, how do I then relink them?

Thanks Again,

Tony

If you break your ZCS while doing something wrong, I'm not sure the downtime will be interesting against the "I saved a ticket" behaviour...

I did not write to "move the mailboxes".
