    Default Wildcards in aliases?

    Hi,

Today, I'm using qmail, and love taking advantage of the fact that I can easily set up wildcard emails to come to each user. For example, the user 'bob' can use addresses of the form 'bob-xxx@example.com', where xxx can be anything, and it all goes to his 'bob' email account.

Is there a reasonably straightforward way to do this in zimbra?

    thanks!
    -Nick

Default Where do I set that value?

    Hi Kevin or others,

Thanks for your very fast reply. As a bit of a Zimbra newbie, where am I supposed to set 'zimbraMtaRecipientDelimiter'? I looked in the admin panels, and didn't see anything there, and a grep through the sources also didn't show any obvious place.

    thanks,
    -Nick

It's a config attr. Try setting it with zmocalconfig/zmprov.

To help others out. The exact command you have to run to enable address extensions is:
    zmprov mcf zimbraMtaRecipientDelimiter -

*Note: The "-" should be changed to whatever delimiter you use for your mailserver. (eg "+" is another popular one).
