XMPP Get info from 3rd party client

We currently have a separate jabberd instance running in house against our internal LDAP servers. We've setup our current environment so that if you right click on a user within Pidgin and select "Get Info" all their information is dynamically looked up and retrieved from LDAP (jpegPhoto, Email, Title, Full Name, etc).

Retrieving user info from the Zimbra/OpenFire instance via Pidgin yields no results. Is this working for anyone? We have Zimbra setup to auth and use external LDAP instead of the Internal server.

This issue, and the issue with auto-buddy lists for all users in a domain are what are preventing us from dumping our internal setup.
