block .dll attachments

If i block a .dll attachments in the admin console -> global settings
it works & i can see it blocked in the logs

Code:

 5.7.1 Attachment type not allowed. File "5.06 compose bug.dll" has the unacceptable extension "dll"

However it doesn't inform the sender, is the a way around this in 5.04
