Shared Calendar will not talli on added calendar

A user added a new calendar which they wanted to share with a group - share went fine. however, when a new appointment is created a message pop stating "Responses to this meeting request will not be tallied because this meeting is not in your main Calendar Folder. Is this OK?

how can a user utilize this feature on all calendar.
