Logger running stats not updating Mac OSX

I am running a multi-node installation of ZCS 5.0.9 which was upgraded from 4.5.7 and the stats have never worked on OSX Server 10.4.11

The logger services is running and the output of (zmprov getConfig zimbraLogHostname)

zmprov getConfig zimbraLogHostname (on all host point at)
zimbraLogHostname: mail04.domain.com

zmcontrol status on mail04 shows:

logger Running
mailbox Running
spell Running
stats Running


Any ideas? Nothing is jumping out at me in the /var/log/zimbra.log
