[SOLVED] Calendar resources limitation

Hello everyone,

My question is : is there a way to restrict the reservation of resources in ZCS Calendar ? For example, we have a meeting room that can only be reserved by a few teams, can we set this up in Zimbra, so that the other persons can't reserve it ?

In each resource account's preferences under Calendar you'll see these options:

Allow both internal and external users to invite me to meetings
Allow only internal users to invite me to meetings
Don't let anyone invite me to meetings
Allow only the following internal users to invite me to meetings:

I suppose you would select the last one and enter the list of people in each group.

I've never done this so I can't answer whether you need to enter each address or just use mailing lists.

I suppose it would be tedious to do if you have a considerable number of resources (conferences rooms and such), I would do it for one and see what fields are changed and create a script that uses zmprov based on that...

Is there a way to reserve resource in a way that another person cannot reserve it in the same time? For example: I reserved a conference room for all monday, someone is trying to reserve conference room also for monday and zimbra tells him that this resource is already taken and doesnt allow him to reserve it. Or maybe is there a zimlet which can do this?

Is *that* not working for you?. It's the default behavior (IIRC).

Check the scheduling options for the resource in the admin console. There are four options that cover fully-automatic to fully-manual quite well.
