Default Disable SMTP AUTH

HI

i want to disable smtp auth for specific IP how to do this
we are having one scanner which scans documents & sends them as email
but there is no option for smtp auth account configuration it only asking for smtp server IP

so we want to disable smtp auth for scanner IP address

plz help

You are asking about adding an open mail relay from a single IP address, right?

Add the scanner address to the MTA Trusted Networks...

Admin>Configuration>Servers>[server name]>MTA>Append to MTA Trusted Networks field (use space or comma as separator)

Reminder: Use this feature very thoughtfully, as you are adding unfettered mail relaying to your server from the address or network you include.
