Using zmprov to request filtered list of users (description field)

How to use zmprov to request a filtered list of users, filtered by what they have in the "description" field.

The CLI help suggests it has something to do with the "sa" command?

Hmm sorry when I tested that I thought it was working but it just happened that my test query would return the same results as just the first one.

The syntax of this command is:

searchAccounts(sa) [-v] {ldap-query} [limit {limit}] [offset {offset}] [sortBy {attr}] [attrs {a1,a2...}] [sortAscending 0|1*] [domain {domain}]

If that is any help.

Yeah I've tried a few different things and no go. maybe a dev will chime in.

zmprov sa zimbraAccountStatus=closed;description=Faculty

If that is the proper syntax, you're going go have to *quote it*, or the shell will eat the semicolon, and you won't even get an error, because the remainder looks like a variable assignment.
