[SOLVED] Question regarding charset.

I hae a RH ES4 and the 3.1 installed and When I send email to hotmail.com
The accents are replaced by the the meta value.
But the same email send to yahoo.fr is displayed correctly!

How can I explain that?

If you can reproduce this then it's a bug. Hotmail in general is very bad at different charsets and special characters. Either way if you have a simple easy test case file it in bugzilla and we'll take a look.

hotmail doesn't deal in utf8 for some reason...

yes. but as i show in http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7503 it has nothing to do how tha mail is created it seems to be a bug how zimbra's imap server response message header with accented chars, which affect almost all europien country...
